Equinix Executive Contact

Hi Nanog Community, We are running into a challenge in dealing with Equinix. I just moved a new company to one of the North American east coast locations. After signing the contract we have reached out to our Sales and Account managers dozens of times via phone, email and even portal tickets without any reply. I wonder if any body else has run into this issue with Equinix. I have used Equinix for previous companies and know they are not the friendliest or most responsive company, but have never run into an issue where for over a month of persistent outreach we have not gotten any response. When we reach out to theitr support team they say that they have also reached out to our Account team multiple time via internal communications and have not gotten a response. We never received an escalation list, nor is there one on their portal. In a funny twist, escalation list requests have to go through our Account team -- whom we can't reach :) Finally, Equinix misapplied a substantial payment due to an internal error, forcing us to make a double payment. And though they acknowledged their error they have refused to refund us playing delay games for near six weeks now. I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone has a contact for the office of the CEO or some other capable executive at Equinix who can help overcome these issues. Curious if others are having similar issues or is this a one-off experience? Many thanks, Babak

Intention & desire for NBNOG (or ATLNOG) -- Canada

Hello fellow eliminated from the world cup continent folks, I'm writing to you today to express my interest in the existence of NBNOG (New Brunswick Network Operators Group) or ATLNOG (Atlantic Canada Network Operators Group). Although I'm the founder of TORNOG, I was actually born & raised in New Brunswick, which is just north of New England. Therefore, I feel I have a stake in helping get this specific Provinces NOG off the ground. When I was recently visiting, I met with an old friend to discuss the feasibility of this venture. It seems like there is not only a healthy tech scene in NB, but also in Atlantic Canada... So I'm curious to hear what the community thinks.... should NBNOG be a thing? Or should it be more centered around Halifax, like DevOpsDays Halifax, for regional reach? If you've always wanted a NOG in the Atlantic Provinces, but needed support, I will be your Majordomo. Hi folks, We recently noticed that rr.level3.net is no longer syncing with RIPE IRR, and the latest route objects on rr.level3.net seem to be 2 ~ 3 weeks old. Is there anyone from Lumen / Level 3 who can investigate this? Also, rr.level3.net is unreachable in many locations outside the US, whereas filtergen.level3.net works. I sit on the board of a non profit organization. There is a Facebook "group" or specifically the Business Portfolio that the organization is attempting to obtain administrative access to. The President is a moderator of this group, but not administrator. The current administrator is a former employee who is in fact cooperating and through regular channels, our President has spend 18+ hours and hit the proverbial brick wall. Full documentation (articles of incorporation, receipts of payment for ads, driver's license, etc.) has been provided to the team and the case was closed due to former employee's willingness to cooperate. The phone number expected to be tied to their account was the employee's old mobile number of which has been disconnected for about 4 years. I am reaching out to the NANOG community in hopes we can reach someone at the Facebook end of things that can spend just a bit of time looking at this situation and help us.
