Rogers outage - House of Commons INDU hearing

Canada is part of North America, and may be of interest to NANOG. Rogers had a nationwide outage on July 8, 2022. The House of Commons held a hearing today (July 25, 2022) on the outage and invited the Rogers CEO, other company CEOs, regulators and academics to testify. Company estimates it will cost at least $250 million. Rogers still plans to complete the proposed $26-billion acquisition of Shaw. The CEO claimed the greater scale of the merged companies would allow Rogers to create seperate wireless and internet networks faster. CRTC chairperson said that reliability and competition are separate issues. Verizon no BGP route to some of AS38365 (182.61.200.0/24)

I've been trying (to no avail) for over a month now to get Verizon to investigate their lack of BGP routing to 182.61.200.0/24, which hosts Baidu Wangpan at pan.baidu.com (Baidu's cloud services/equivalent of Google Drive). Easily verified through Verizon's Looking Glass. We all know Verizon's BGP routing is a disaster, but does anyone have any ideas?

The questions are more or less the same, but change the brand names. This is from the letter to AT&T (1) Data retention: a. Please describe in detail the geolocation data that AT&T and Cricket Wireless collect and/or retain regarding current and/or former subscribers. How is that data collected? b. Please explain the reasons geolocation data is retained for both current and former subscribers. c. How long is geolocation data retained for both current and former subscribers. d. Please provide a description of what safeguards AT&T and Cricket Wireless use to protect current and former subscriber geolocation data. e. In what country (or countries) is geolocation data stored? f. Please share whether and how you disclose your data retention policies to subscribers. g. What is your data deletion policy for current or former subscribers, and how do you dispose of subscriber geolocation data? h. Do your subscribers have any opportunity to opt-out of your data retention policies and if not, why not? (2) Data sharing a. Please provide AT&T and Cricket Wireless’s process and policies for sharing subscriber geolocation data with law enforcement? b. Hello, Looking for an iCloud/Apple admin contact me off list. I’ve exhausted all the usual support channels on this one and some of the responses have been quite comical. Background: Every time you setup an email account in Apple Mail it will check the domain entered against a database of email server settings and conveniently autofill those settings. 10 or so years ago we reached out to our business contact at Apple to setup email server auto discovery for our domain, over the last decade our contact has left and any attempts to reach Apple to get this info updated have been fruitless.
