Frontier/5650 contact

Looking to get in touch with someone at 5650 about an issue with the netblock I have been assigned on static fios service. My service looks to be coming off of a BNG in the Dallas Infomart, some 200 miles away in a different metro area, and the netblock is geolocated accordingly, breaking lots of things. I’ve tried to manually correct it with various services but it seems to get overwritten over time. Have tried the usual channels, including having tech support tell me that I need to replace my SRX with an Eero, and an FCC complaint — but have been stonewalled. V/r Tim

is it just me or...

I'm using Thunderbird to read mail and lately the only thing I've seen in the mail.from address is |North American Network Operators Group | and not the author's address which makes it really hard to tell who is talking to whom. I is just me, or has there been a list config change that is causing this? Mike

Contact needed: AS15169 Peering/GGC Escalation (Bogota Edge Exhaustion)
by cesarmeza＠superredes.co 10 Apr '26

10 Apr '26

Hello NANOG community, I apologize for reaching out here, but we have exhausted all official support channels for over two months and are dealing with a severe capacity crisis. We are looking for a direct contact or Duty Manager at Google Peering / GGC Strategy for LATAM. Our ASN: AS270075 (Super Redes SAS - Colombia) The Issue: Google's rack capacity in the Bogota metro area is completely exhausted. This was confirmed to us via a Google NOC internal bug leak (b/478722514). Because of this, our 100G PNIs have been artificially hard-capped at 10G. We had to administratively shut down the peering links to stop massive flapping and are now bleeding >15 Gbps of Google-destined traffic to paid transit. The Ignored Mitigation: We meet all volume criteria (~30 Gbps) and requested a local GGC node to mitigate this 40+ days ago (Ticket #2175456459). The request remains completely ignored with zero human response from the Edge team. The NOC refuses to provide an ETR for the physical capacity issue. If anyone from AS15169 is reading this, or if anyone can back-channel this to the right person, we desperately need a human to look at ticket #2175456459 so we can deploy this cache and restore service stability. Thank you in advance, [Cesar Meza] [Director NOC] Super Redes SAS (AS270075) Cesar Alberto Meza Seijas Director NOC Super Redes SAS T: +57 606 3495750 | E: cesarmeza(a)superredes.co (mailto:{cesarmeza@superredes.co}) www.superredes.com.co (https://www.superredes.com.co) Carrera 27 #81-57 Casa 16, Corales Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia El contenido de este correo electrónico es confidencial y está destinado únicamente al destinatario especificado en el mensaje. Cloudflare DNS contact?
by Betsy Schwartz 08 Apr '26

08 Apr '26

We're getting reports of users trying to log in or request 2FA emails from Cloudflare sites (ex: California DMV) but seeing errors that our well.com domain isn't recognized as valid. Well.com has been around since 1993 and our primary DNS hasn't changed since perhaps 2012. . Excerpts appended for reference. I strongly suspect these errors are related to a Cloudflare security check for valid email domains. Hoping someone here can validate or disprove this. If it's a Cloudflare issue, any contacts here? When I poke at an open cloudflare DNS server and look up the A for well.com I get a disturbing error: : server can't find well.com.well.sf.ca.us: well.sf.ca.us is an antique (but valid) A record in the sf.ca.us zone and has no business appearing here. Did something drop a period or CRLF on a list somewhere? When I query AWS and Google DNS servers, our DNS looks correct and unchanged Thank you very much for any pointers!
