"Major" primary and secondary references for contact information. When making updates, you should check all these locations for obsolete or incorrect information. Actually getting the owner/operator of all of these to make the changes is left as an exercise for the reader. ARIN to Allocate from 64/8

In the near future, ARIN will begin making allocations from the 64/8 block. This will include allocations of /20 and shorter prefixes, according to ARIN's minimum allocation policy. The contract for the NASA NOC was re-bid and a different contractor won. The phone number has changed. I don't know if NASA is trying to keep the new number confidential or just hasn't gotten around to updating the records. Howdy. The IMRSS open-mail-relay-protection service has listed one of my machines, 129.173.1.10, as an open mail relay, I dunno why, coz it ain't. Several regular mail peers have called me about this. www.imrss.com has been down for the last several days, and none of the phone numbers listed on the NSI contact page for imrss.org work. Well, IMRSS also lists the following: 129.173.1.56 129.173.1.67 129.173.1.83 129.173.1.88 which *are* indeed open relays. It appears that the connections between ames and the rest of mae-w are totally dead... We have a new connection to ames and an old one to the giga's.... I have tested with both, and on the ames side, all ames peers come up, and on the giga side, all giga peers come up.
