I have a question for Sprint folk, in regards to thier filtering. Let's assume for a moment that I have a /17 assigned to me by ARIN. I am a customer of Savvis (who in turn is a customer of Sprint). I announce this /19 and all is well. Then, lets say that I get a customer, of which I assign a /19 to them from my /17. Lets say the mutli-home between us and another provider. The other provider does *not* have a connection to Sprint as a customer, but as a peer. When my customers' link goes down to me, and they are only connected to the 'net via the other providers connection, with Sprint see that /19 announcement? Can you convinve them to do so? Stratacom BPX 8600 and New Beetle?!?

Well... We tried the ultimate test today. I drove about 140km with a Stratacom BPX 8600 and power supply in the trunk of my 1998 New Beetle (with the back seat folded down). It was a bit hard to get it, but once in it fit quite nicely and didn't move around since it was so heavy. Now all I have to do is try a 7513... Did I mention its a good idea to keep the direct-dial (non-800) numbers for your vendors around? Oh, ok. I thought I had. Cisco: 1-800-553-2447; 1-800-553-6387; +1 (408) 526-7209 I don't know if the 408 number does the around the world routing like the 1-800 number, or if you need to call the Aussie, Belgie, et al numbers directly. ObRouterCommand: Ok so you can't type that into your Cisco router, but if you call the number, they can tell you something to type into it. Two weeks to go before CCIE lab, and I still am pulling my hair out.
