MAE-East Problems?

Is anyone else having problems with packet-loss through MAE-EAST? We're down 20% to MAE-E and I'm almost certain it is as result of packet-loss. No problems getting to MAE-East. If you don't have any users, or if you have users but you don't answer technical support questions from them, then you won't be helped by this at all. Microsoft search gone?

home.microsoft.com (as used by the search button on IE3 and IE4) appears to have been returning "Connection Refused" for several hours now, and has resulted in many complaints from users "unable to search the internet". SERVER NAMES

This is a little off of the normal lines of the list. But I am at a loss as to what naming convention I should use with my new set of servers. I have already used Southpark, Jet sons,and Warner brothers cartoons. Does any one have any good suggestions other than the Super Friends? nanog media recordings ?

Whatever became of the Real Audio/Video recordings of NANOG-17 ? I checked the web page but couldn't find any links to previous meeting's AV recordings. Given that lots of people are in different time zones (and have day ops to attend to), they might want to watch NANOG-18 in time-delayed fashion. Any chance that this (NANOG-18 recordings) is going up today after hours ? Thanks, bye,Kai

Agreed, audio is better now. Also, the video bit-rate is more reasonable now (128kbps for a non-changing image, compared to 400kbps previously).
