Can someone from Verizon Business please contact me? It appears that your network is losing traffic from Verizon Wireless (e.g. 63.59.39.232, 63.56.37.4, or 63.59.67.68) to me (AS33362, e.g. to 69.89.207.16). Note that 63.59.166.100 -> 69.89.207.16 was successfully (around 2023-11-27). This breaks email between us and it's been MONTHS of VZW getting nowhere. Based on some traceroutes (on 2023-11-27 and again just now), the working ones go through 140.222.234.223 (0.ae10.GW7.CHI13.ALTER.NET) while the broken ones stop at 140.222.234.221 (0.ae9.GW7.CHI13.ALTER.NET) -- Richard Laager Wikstrom Telephone Company

Before I go to the trouble of making one myself, does anybody happen to know of a pre-canned program to generate realistic and scalable amounts of broadcast/broad-multicast network background "chatter" seen on typical consumer and business networks? This would be things like lots of ARP traffic to/from various sources/destinations within a subnet, SSDP, MDNS-SD, SMB browser traffic, DHCP requests, etc.? Ideally, said tool would have knobs to control the amount of traffic and whether a given type of traffic is present. This is mostly for torture testing "IoT" type devices by exposing them to lots of diverse, essentially nonsense traffic that they're likely to see in a real environment. -- Brandon Martin

So many highly-qualified volunteers from the NANOG membership were nominated for this year’s committee selection, and we personally thank each NANOG member who offered their time. As an organization, NANOG was founded by volunteers who developed a quality forum for North America’s operator community. Despite the growth in NANOG’s programs, volunteers greatly outnumber professional staff. The volunteer-only committees drive many of the ideas for growth and development in the organization and community as a whole. AWS WAF list

Hello, We found out recently that we are on the HostingProviderIPList (found here https://docs.aws.amazon.com/waf/latest/developerguide/aws-managed-rule-grou…) at AWS and it's affecting our customers' access to various websites. We are a datacenter, and a hosting provider, but we have plenty of enterprise customers with eyeballs. We're finding it difficult to find a technical contact that we can reach since we're not an AWS customer. Does anyone have a contact or advice on a solution? Thank you, Justin H.
