AT&T and having two BGP peers

We are getting an Ethernet DIA circuit from AT&T but they insist that they can't BGP peer with 2 routers on our side. The WAN circuit can only have /30 they say. Has anyone been able to successfully talk them in to bending their rule? If so, how? I know this should have been negotiated before signing a contract but I was unfortunately not in the loop... :( It seems like a ridiculous bureaucratic restriction.

Swedish bittorrent dropped 40Gbps with an EU law? (DCMA -like)

Hello, I am interested in a claim made[1] that with the implementation of EU Directive 2004/48/EC [2] that Swedish traffic dropped 40Gb/s: http://stats.autonomica.se/mrtg/sums/All.html Could this really mean that everyone in Sweden just 'turned off their bittorrent clients' on the 1st of April? It seems to me that its more likely a large peer has pulled out or closed a service. Does anyone have some interesting ideas on where to get a more balanced view on where that traffic went on the 1st of April? Public/testing 4to6 gateway?

Either they don't exist, or my Google-fu is particularly bad this morning. I'm trying to get my toes wet with IPv6. I've established an internal 6to4/4to6 tunnel. I'd also like to have a testbed for access to public v6 sites. I'm also trying to find some clue at my upstreams, but figured I'd ask here as well. Are there any 4to6 gateway available? I have assigned v6 space. Thanks,

Take this with the grain of salt that I do not work for APC, but for a sister company. The word that I have heard is that they are in no rush to discontinue any of the product line. In fact rumor is that APC was very happy to have the MGE products available to them for sale to customers. As a side note I have several MGE UPS in service and have had zero problem getting support and maintenance from APC for them. RS

We do not see the original, so by replying and CC'ing the list, you are helping him get his ... er ... message[*] to a wider audience. And if you have actually read any of his ... umm ... posts[*], then you should realize that is to the list's detriment. MGE UPS Systems

I'm curious if anyone might know what the future of the MGE line of UPS systems are. My concern is that they're dead-end since being merged into APC, and APC wanting to sell me APC stuff. The problem I face is that my facility was designed with separate equipment spaces, which is great for normal electrical gear that can be backed against a wall, but not so great for a product which is designed for the "everything goes in with your racks" mindset. Any insight would be appreciated. ~Seth
