Canadian Hosting Providers - how do you handle copyright and trademark complaints

Hello, I'm wondering how other Canadian Hosting Providers handle copyright and trademark complaints about customers on their network. I'm thinking of just handling them the same as a DMCA notification should be handled but since there's no forced takedown provisions in the Canadian copyright act (that I know of?) it's difficult to say what is better. I'd kind of like if our customers could enjoy some freedom from the sledgehammer of the DMCA *but* still being subject to copyright and trademark infringement laws of course. I have to admit - this is my ignorance. I'm quite familiar with the DMCA and the litigation that usually ensues during american trademark infringement already but not Canadian copyright laws or trademark laws. I do intend to consult with a real lawyer about this eventually but I want to have intelligent questions or suggestions before that happens. Regional Internet problems for AT&T in Wisconsin?

We are having issues on our MIS Fiber dropping for 10-15 seconds at a time and getting reports for end users working remotely that residential u-verse internet stops working at the same time they are disconnected from work.

nokiamail spam

Could someone from yahoo please contact me off list please? Because I really want something to be done against the recent spam mail floods from nokiamail.com without needing to harm yahoo itself by adding them to dnsbl as it would harm more users then just the intended target in order to protect users from these spams. The abuse has been going on for weeks, and I hardly see any improvements in solving those. I encourage yahoo to make it clear to nokia that this abuse has to end. I myself receive these mails multiple times a day on several mailboxes. Googling around tells me there are millions others suffering from the same spams as well. Microsoft Exchange Public Cloud Contact

Looking for some help from anyone associated with Microsoft's cloud email service. As of last Thursday, customers of Microsoft Exchange Online and other Microsoft email services could no longer send us email. We are not a Microsoft customer, so I'm not sure of how to get help on this. I think I have some guesses about what might be happening, but it's something we cannot fix from the outside. MS needs to fix it Any help would be appreciated. I can supply more details. Did not want to share too much in a public forum. Thanks.
