And when you go to figure out why that IP wont ping through Cogent on your exchange, and start troubleshooting but can't get any answers as to why things are bust... [ Clearly now an operational issue for NANOG. ] Purposely breaking routing and not being able to talk about why is going to set many orgs at odds with their basic operational charters. I expect that a paid service will work when it's provided, including help debugging their end. This is slightly different from a service provider, ostensibly you can go elsewhere to get service - but when you are a member of a nonprofit *IX (as we are with TorIX), things get a lot more complex. SMC D3G CCR IPv6 support for Comcast BCI customers

Folks, I meant to send this sooner, hopefully better late than never. We found a bug in the SMC D3G CCR that was specific to IPv6. We tried for many months (practically years to get it fixed properly) with no success. As such we have to roll back IPv6 support for the same. Web/Streaming issues

Been getting complaints from customers about web services such Netflix, Youtube, Facebook and Snapchat either slow to load or not loading at all and yet speed tests seem to be ok. We keep checking our network equipment for issues and not able to identify any as of yet We have two 10gig connections to Wolfe and Zayo. Greetings NANOG Colleagues, The Board has completed the Program Committee selection process. This year, 27 members submitted their candidacies for 9 available positions. We want to thank each and every one of them for considering this important service to our community and encourage them to try for the next selection cycle. We are pleased to announce the two-year term appointment of the following to the Program Committee: L Sean Kennedy, Dani Roisman, Allison Feese-Strickland, Krassimir Tzvetanov, Ryan Woolley, Christina Chu, Brad Raymo, Greg Hankins, and Adam Davenport We also want to thank and recognize the contribution of Philippe Couture, Paul Ebersman, and John Van Oppen for their service on the Program Committee. The Board of Directors also created an Ad-Hoc Committee for NANOG On The Road meetings.
