Each year the NomCom plays an instrumental part in ARIN's Elections by identifying, recruiting, and certifying a slate of Board of Trustees and Advisory Council (AC) candidates to the ARIN Membership for election, in accordance with ARIN bylaws and procedures. For more information on the role and responsibilities of the committee, please review the NomCom Charter at: https://www.arin.net/about_us/committeecharters.html#nomcom The NomCom is composed of seven representatives that include two members from the ARIN Board of Trustees, one serving as Chair, who then appoint five individual representatives from a General Membership pool of volunteers. RPKI coverage statistics

Hi All, where can I found the current coverage of IP prefixes under RPKI system. Stats like total prefixes issued collectively by all the organisations like RIR's/IANA/ISP's. stats like prefixes coverd under RPKI system. The goal is to detect the BGP IP prefix hijacking using RPKI system. I would like to know the coverage before adopting RPKI system. Issues with .org domain after removing DS records

Hello, I just removed the DS records from my .org domain but the delegation is now broken due to an issue with .org's NSEC3 [1]. The domain is still signed on my authoritative nameservers because DS records on .org have 24h TTL. It is the second time I have this issue with the same domain. My registrar is Google Domains, I contacted their support but they could not help me with this issue. I also removed the DS records of 4 other domains on Google Domains but I am not seeing any issues with them, including a .info domain [2]. Do you guys have any idea on how to help me? 6PE on ALU

Hello, Running into a little problem configuring 6PE on ALU7750. All prefixes in the IPv6 table except prefixes learned via my eBGP peers are getting exported via MP-BGP: group "IPV6-LU" description "6PE config" family label-ipv6 remove-private export "permitAll" peer-as 123 neighbor 10.1.2.3 exit exit policy-statement "permitAll" default-action accept exit exit This is on SROS 14. The "advertise-label ipv6" command no longer exists. "family label-ipv6" seems to do the same thing. For locally connected subnet the next hop gets set to IPv4-IPv6 mapped address. I've tried different export policies and cannot get eBGP learned IPv6 prefixes to get exported. Has anyone run into this before? Thanks, Serge

RFC 8092 on BGP Large Communities Attribute

Hey NANOG, As a followup to our NANOG 68 presentation in Dallas on BGP Large Communites (https://www.nanog.org/meetings/abstract?id=2990) RFC 8092 as just published on Thursday. BGP Large Communities solve a big issue for network operators, by providing a simple way to signal meta-information between networks using 16-bit or 32-bit ASNs. Publication as an RFC was accomplished in a remarkably short time, due to the close cooperation and strong consensus between the IETF IDR Working Group and network operators. The idea progressed rapidly from its inception in March 2016, to the first Internet-Draft in September 2016, to its final IESG approval stages in December 2016, and finally to publication as an RFC in barely seven months. In addition the the final standard, a number of implementations and tools were developed along the way, so that network operators can test and deploy the new technology now. While the final milestone to RFC publication has been reached, this is by no means the end of the story! OADM spliting

Hello the nanog list, I'm searching for a OADM CWDM splitting module which can be placed in a BEP outdoor box (this OADM module must have a EAST input and a WEST output, with the capacity to active the split for each waves or not) with the 2 mux/demux rack 19". Classics CWDM waves needs (1470-1610 nm with 8 channels). If you know a good BPE which can accept 10 x 1.5 fibers opticals cables I/O and with SC connectors, we like it if you can add it in your quote. For a Special Session and Workshops proposal to be considered for acceptance at TSP 2017 Conference, the proposed topic needs to be an emerging area in telecommunications or signal processing. The topic should be timely and significantly important to the technical audience, and the speakers need to convey compelling information about the topic. The proposals will be evaluated by the ability to introduce the area to large telecommunications and signal processing community, further develop the area, and help establishing a larger research community beyond the area. Each Special Session and Workshop will be approx. 90 minutes long and will usually consist of 5 oral presentations, however, in case of larger interest the Special Session or Workshop will be divided to more parts. Other formats may be possible, including panel discussions, demos, or poster presentations. The Organizer’s role is to invite the speakers, help with reviews, and chair the session itself. Each speaker invited to a Special Session and Workshop will be required to submit a paper, under the regular submission requirements, by the regular submission deadline. These papers will enter the same system as regular papers, and be subject to reviews. The Organizer will be asked to help with selection of reviewers and in consultation with the program committee will make accept/reject decisions. It is possible that some invited papers may be rejected. However, this is expected to be a rare case since the Organizer should recruit only the high-quality papers to the Special Session or Workshop.
