questions about ARIN ipv6 allocation

Hello, We're setting up IPv6 network is USA. Our company has branches and different legal entities in EU and US. We've some ipv6 PI subnets already allocated by RIPE for EU datacenters. I have few questions: 1) Is it possible to reuse some portion of RIPE allocated ipv6 addresses in USA ? Or we need to ask for the new ones by requesting in ARIN ? 2) Can i request in ARIN just ipv6 subnets for USA DCs, but to use the same AS number which was allocated by RIPE in EU ? Thanks

Hi all, I'm in the process of cleaning out my basement and getting rid of a bunch of networking stuff that I've accumulated over the years. Much of it is older, but I'm hoping it might be useful to someone, especially if they are doing anything like building a lab for learning/certification, etc. I'm giving it away (not selling it), and I'm in Northern VA, near IAD / Ashburn Equinix. A very partial list: Cisco 7401ASR Cisco 3560 switch Bunch of Cisco 7960 IP phones. I would really appreciate it if someone from Microsoft, from the org deals with spam/quarantine Microsoft 365 Business email service could contact me offlist. We have a long-standing email delivery problem between Google (Google Workspace) and Microsoft (Microsoft 365 Business). Since October 15th, when I found enough evidence of a problem with the Microsoft filtering system, I have gone through so many avenues. And I have documented all the communications and got nowhere. So believe me! I'm not calling for a CEO because of a tasteless cookie! Google Support does not help (and honestly could not do more. November 17th, eventually, I signed up for an MS Business account to replicate the problem and escalate it within MS. So many back and forth, the last call was sending the EML, which I sent. Needless to say, sending the problematic content to the support was another mess! As those content got filtered by MS Mailserver. Ticket number 28465129. I should say the support guy is trying to do his best, but you can imagine it would be much challenging to voice up for an edge case in a large organization. I have been working in a 1K-headcount company and have seen genuine customer cases get mistreated. So I feel challenges at the size of MS. Latency/Packet Loss on ASR1006

Hi, We have ... ASR1006 that has following cards... 1 x ESP40 1 x SIP40 4 x SPA-1x10GE-L-V2 1 x 6TGE 1 x RP2 We've been having latency and packet loss during peak periods... We notice all is good until we reach 50% utilization on output of... 'show platform hardware qfp active datapath utilization summary' Literally ... 47% good... 48% good... 49% latency to next hop goes from 1ms to 15-20ms... 50% we see 1-2% packet-loss and 30-40ms latency... 53% we see 60-70ms latency and 8-10% packet loss. Is this expected... the ESP40 can only really push 20G and then starts to have performance issues? --- Colin Legendre
