Google folks: I see historical reference to needing to use the Google Peering Portal ( http://peering.google.com) if you need to provide Google with geofeed info for GeoIP info on network blocks, ref https://mailman.nanog.org/pipermail/nanog/2015-May/075229.html. Is that still the case? Are there any avenues to provide Google with geofeed info if you're *not* currently peering with 15169? Hello, we have done a worldwide measurement to identify which ASes have propagated RPKI-invalid prefixes. We find an interesting phenomenon that some ASes may perform RPKI-invalid filtering only at partial interfaces (e.g., provider interfaces, customer interfaces, and peer interfaces). Although there are other studies [1, 2] noting the same phenomenon, little is known about why some network operators perform different filtering policies at different interfaces. We are trying to figure out the reasons and summarize the optimal deployment policy for RPKI-invalid filtering. To this end, we create an anonymous questionnaire and hope you can help fill out it. (AP) — The tech industry’s drive to dot the Virginia landscape with data centers may have hit a glitch this week in Prince William County. [...] The plan, called the Prince William Digital Gateway, prompted one of the region’s biggest land-use disputes in decades. It was approved despite vocal opposition from residents concerned that the data centers are noisy, ugly, and consume massive amounts of electricity that require the addition of high-voltage transmission lines.
