Issue with Geolocation in Virginia US

Team, We are having issues in our Virginia US office & it shows geolocation in all browsers as Canada instead of US region when we access news.google.com in our PC. Our public ip is 129.46.232.65. This issue is being observed for more than 2 month. Can you help to whom we can contact to resolve the issue. Regards, Raja

Hi Guys, Except for the email on ARIN's details, does anyone else have a contact for the DoD? We are experiencing a situation with a 3rd party (direct peer), wanting to advertise DoD address space to us, and we need to confirm whether they are allowed to do so or not. QUIC traffic throttled on AT&T residential

I've AT&T fiber (in RTP, NC) (AS7018) and I notice UDP QUIC traffic from google (esp. youtube) becomes very slow after a time. This especially occurs with ipv4 connections. I'm not the only one to notice; a web search for e.g. "Extremely Poor Youtube TV Performance" notes the issue. I assume traffic is being throttled on AT&T's side. And it's not done with their CPE; I'm bypassing their NAT box and connecting my laptop directly to the ONT. A quick google search shows people are aware that QUIC can look like DoS traffic -- but how widely known is this problem? It may become worse if / when sites transition to HTTP/3 For now I reject UDP 443 on the client firewall. Applications using QUIC client libraries then fallback to TCP. This works well and I have no issues with latency or throughput when using TCP. May I naively ask if Google staff are working with AT&T to address this? -- Dan

Google peering pains in Dallas

So it has been 3 weeks of major ICMP packet loss to any google service over the Dallas Equinix IX, it is not affecting performance of service but is affecting us with customer complaints and service calls due to some software using it for monitoring purposes people using it for benchmark testing. I have been told from them that they know the cause now and know that a Large ISP on the IX is causing the issue(Hmm wonder who that is...), so why do they not shutdown the peer with them and force the ISP to fix the issue? This issue is affecting everyone on the IX not just us, very very frustrating. Hopefully this will reach someone over there that can do something about it.....
