Sprint Wireless DNS server not resolving ietf.org

ietf.org and its subdomains such as tools.ietf.org are not accessible on Sprint 3G/LTE (DNS timeout). From what I gathered this is affecting Sprint wireless customers nationwide. I created a DNS measurement on ripe atlas and no signs of other carriers experiencing the same issue. Emailed Sprint NOC and opened a ticket via support channel, got no update. Is there someone from Sprint Wireless on this list? DNS servers 68.28.169.132 68.28.168.132 Thanks. Yang

Standard terminology for a dark fiber path?

What is the standard terminology for strands of dark fiber spliced together to form a continuous path between points A and Z? I have seen: - *fiber circuit* [but also seen used to denote a connection at the network layer over a physical fiber connection. This definition of circuit would include the dark fiber path, the transmitters and receivers and logic making up the data and network layers.] - *fiber loop *[ Does a loop define an electrical circuit with two physically separate positive and negative strands? Ticketmaster Blocking IPs?

Hello folks, I'm grasping a bit at straws here, and really hope maybe somebody has some knowledge that may assist in getting an answer where we've been met with silence. We're a small isp who unfortunately is dealing with our entire range of IP blocks being restricted on what appears to be a permanent basis from TicketMaster's services. We've attempted all avenues available to reach out to them, between their NOC contact and their... client support contacts... to no avail. Unfortunately, the ones caught out in the cold at this point have been the end users who as a result cannot utilize Ticketmaster... I'm hoping someone can offer some insight if they've been down this path before, or further, if you're from Ticketmaster, contact me off list to trade coordinates so we can resolve this quickly. Netflix NOC? VPN Mismarked?

Hey, Per chance if someone @ Netflix could reach me off list? Seems that as of this weekend there's a number of our clients (residential internet) who are unable to utilize Netflix directly, instead being presented with a message advising them they're using a VPN service... SIP strangeness on T-W cable ?

Today I am unable to connect to my usual SIP servers from my T-W cable account. I've tried two Sipura terminal adapters and the softphone in Jitsi, and I can't connect to either callcentric.com or voipdiscount.com, and the network connection is otherwise looking normal. The SIP providers are up, if I call my callcentric number from the other line it goes to voicemail as you'd expect. Anyone else seeing SIP wierdness on T-W today? R's, John
