Open source alternatives to UNINETT Stager for visual netflow peering analysis

We've really enjoyed the open source Stager platform for netflow analysis, however the code has not seen updates in recent years. Looking for alternative open source netflow analysis platforms with a web interface. There are quite a few netflow tools around these days, and we are looking for something that performs the steps needed to showing us traffic volumes to particular AS#'s and their downstream customers for peering analysis decisions. I can get coarse answers from nfdump, but would like something more elegant for the NOC to use. Hi - I have a PCIDSs requirement to encrypt VoIP over a 3rd party VPLS network. Has anyone dealt with this. I'd really not use VPN's over the VPLS so am looking at hardware WAN encrypters. Any guidance appreciated. Thanks Simon

Consumer products with baked-in VLAN tagging

Hi folks, As you may know if you've played around with recent Apple Airports (Express at least) in bridge mode with "guest network" turned on, they seem to know about 802.1q and have fairly reasonable or at least defensible behavior out of the box - that is to say they move the "native" SSID as untagged, and the "guest" SSID tagged 802.1q VLAN 1003. This behavior does not appear to be field-modifyable. So, who else has seen this sort of behavior from other consumer devices, running mixed tagged/untagged VLANs in a non-reconfigurable way? I'd be grateful for any and all pointers. Thanks, -r

Fixing Google geolocation screwups

A friend of mine lives in Alabama and has business service from at&t. But Google thinks he's in France. We've checked for various possibilities of VPNs and proxies and such, and it's pretty clear that the Goog's geolocation for addresses around 99.106.185.0/24 is screwed up. Bing and other services correctly find him in Alabama. Poking around I see lots of advice about how to use Google's geolocation data, but nothing on how to update it. Anyone know the secret?
