Thanks everyone, I feel a lot more confident on this project after this discussion. I will be working with a comm engineer who'll be doing the various radio links. I just need to be sure he can make the best decision as we're moving from ATM to MPLS and he doesn't understand the networking part and I only understand the basics of microwave links. scott

Hulu NOC contact request.

We are an ISP and some of our customers are being blocked from Hulu because Hulu thinks they’re using a proxy service even though the customers have a straight pipe to the internet. Recommended wireless AP for 400 users office

I friend recommended me Ruckus Wireless, it would be great if you can share your experience with Ruckus or with a similar vendor. Verizon FiOS contact?

Anyone from VZ FiOS network on the list who would be interested in discussing something. We host in Equinix/NY4 and have internet provided by Internap. Several of our users have been complaining of speed issues and our own speed tests confirm severe bandwidth degradation (we're talking 0.5Mbps download speeds) but only for FiOS customers. From anywhere to Internap is fine. >From FiOS to anywhere else is also fine. But there is a definite reproducible issues from FiOS (tested in NYC, Westchester and NJ) to Internap in NY4. Internap informed us other customers are having issues from FiOS as well but it seems they can't reach anyone at VZ who will engage on this. They claim each user must file a repair request with VZ. Nanog, I would like to poll the collective for experiences both positive and negative with the Nexus line. More specifically I am interested in hearing about FEX with N2K at the ToR and if this has indeed made any impact on Opex as well as non-obvious shortcomings to using the fabric extenders. Also if anyone is using any of the Nexus line for I/O convergence (FCoE) I would be interested in hearing your experience with this as well. Thank you in advance, -A
