Dear Colleague,
The Organizing Committee of the 2017 40th International Conference on
Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP - /http://tsp.vutbr.cz//)
seeks for acknowledged specialists to participate in the review process
and support the TSP community with the evaluation of 2 or 3 manuscripts.
To appreciate this effort, we are glad to offer to reviewers an
authorization for reduced conference registration fee.
The TSP 2017 Conference will be held during July 5-7, 2017, in
Barcelona, Spain and it is organized in cooperation with the IEEE Region
8 (Europe, Middle East and Africa), IEEE Spain Section, IEEE
Czechoslovakia Section, IEEE Czechoslovakia Section SP/CAS/COM Joint
Chapter, and IEEE Croatia Section Communications Chapter by sixteen
universities from Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, Taiwan, Japan, Slovak
Republic, Spain, Bulgaria, France, Slovenia, Croatia, and Poland for
academics, researchers, and developers and it serves as a premier annual
international forum to promote the exchange of the latest advances in
telecommunication technology and signal processing.
To register yourself, please visit the
http://tsp.vutbr.cz/tsp2017/openconf/openconf.php website and enter the
"*tsp17rev*" password into the "*Sign Up — Keycode:*" field and click on
"*Enter*" button. In addition to *selection of maximum 3 Topic Areas*,
please *enter to "Keywords"*field *at least 7 semi comma (;) separated
specific keywords *from the field of your expertise in order to ensure
proper manuscript assignment.
The manuscript assignment process will be launched in the second half of
March 2017 and you will be informed by automatic email notification.
Thank you in advance for your collaboration.

************************************************************************************
Dear Colleague,
Within the framework of the *2017 40th International Conference on
Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP - http://tsp.vutbr.cz )*
held during *July 5-7, 2017, Barcelona, Spain*, prospective Organizers
are invited to submit proposals for Special Sessions and Workshops at
TSP 2017 Conference. Proposals are due through the form below by
February 20, 2017.
For a Special Session and Workshops proposal to be considered for
acceptance at TSP 2017 Conference, the proposed topic needs to be an
emerging area in telecommunications or signal processing. The topic
should be timely and significantly important to the technical audience,
and the speakers need to convey compelling information about the topic.
The proposals will be evaluated by the ability to introduce the area to
large telecommunications and signal processing community, further
develop the area, and help establishing a larger research community
beyond the area.
Each Special Session and Workshop will be approx. 90 minutes long and
will usually consist of 5 oral presentations, however, in case of larger
interest the Special Session or Workshop will be divided to more parts.
Other formats may be possible, including panel discussions, demos, or
poster presentations.
The Organizer’s role is to invite the speakers, help with reviews, and
chair the session itself.
Each speaker invited to a Special Session and Workshop will be required
to submit a paper, under the regular submission requirements, by the
regular submission deadline. These papers will enter the same system as
regular papers, and be subject to reviews. The Organizer will be asked
to help with selection of reviewers and in consultation with the program
committee will make accept/reject decisions. It is possible that some
invited papers may be rejected. However, this is expected to be a rare
case since the Organizer should recruit only the high-quality papers to
the Special Session or Workshop.
The invited speakers as well as the Organizer will be required to
register for the conference. Registration fees will not be waived and
there will be no honoraria available through TSP.
Formore information please visit the /Call for Special Sessions and
Workshops/ at website http://tsp.vutbr.cz/. We are also ready to answer
your questions emailed to tsp(a)feec.vutbr.cz <mailto:tsp@feec.vutbr.cz>.
Looking forward to meeting you in Barcelona, Spain.
With best regards,

TSP Organizers reserve the right to exclude a paper from distribution
after the Conference (e.g., non-indexing in IEEE Xplore® and other
databases) if the paper is not presented at the Conference. However,
this paper will be distributed as part of the Conference proceedings
issued on an USB drive.

And when you go to figure out why that IP wont ping through Cogent on
your exchange, and start troubleshooting but can't get any answers
as to why things are bust...
[ Clearly now an operational issue for NANOG. ]
Purposely breaking routing and not being able to talk about why is going to
set many orgs at odds with their basic operational charters. I expect that
a paid service will work when it's provided, including help debugging their end.
This is slightly different from a service provider, ostensibly you can
go elsewhere to get service - but when you are a member of a nonprofit *IX
(as we are with TorIX), things get a lot more complex.
I imagine contract lawyers are going to be all over this.

Who would I talk to about a gmail server that's apparently on one of the

Folks,
I meant to send this sooner, hopefully better late than never. We found a bug in the SMC D3G CCR that was specific to IPv6. We tried for many months (practically years to get it fixed properly) with no success. As such we have to roll back IPv6 support for the same. See the link below:
http://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/t5/IPV6/IPv6-Firmware-Rollback-on-SM…
If you have an SMC D3G CCR and require IPv6 support please send me unicast email at work (this address). Use the forum messenger or contact me directly regarding a device swap for a model that continues to supports IPv6.
Feel free to ask questions on list that you feel others will benefit from, I will answer them. Otherwise please use the forum link above.

Been getting complaints from customers about web services such Netflix,
Youtube, Facebook and Snapchat either slow to load or not loading at all
and yet speed tests seem to be ok.
We keep checking our network equipment for issues and not able to identify
any as of yet
We have two 10gig connections to Wolfe and Zayo. Are others seeing similar
issues?
