[OT?] Anyone else been contacted by networkequipment.net after commenting here?

So I decided to respond to a message earlier - was the first time in quite a while on the NANOG list. Like, we're talking maybe 3-6 months since my last post? This afternoon I get an e-mail from Brad Lovelace <brad(a)networkequipment.net> asking me if I have cisco, juniper, etc to sell to his company, claimed I have done business with him before (even though I've never sold any equipment to them, nor have we ever communicated before - my e-mail archives go back to 1996 or so). Isn't the first time I've been contacted by a networking gear vendor after they 'mysteriously' got my e-mail address (shortly after I posted a comment here) as someone who was interested in their wares. We may have someone scraping e-mail addresses and names from the nanog list - don't suppose the mods might be so gracious enough to look at the sub list and see if anyone from networkequipment.net is on here? Reno local fibre providers

hi there, I am trying to help a good friend of mine to connect his office to a pop (in bay area most likely) so I am in the need of identifying some network providers in Reno who can provide this service. Currently charter and AT&T are onnet in the facility but the prices they are quoting is "out of this world" :) thank you for your help Mehmet

NAT on a Trident/Qumran(/or other?) equipped whitebox?

Has anyone played around with this? Curious if the BCM (or whatever other chip) can do this, and if not, if any of the box vendors have tried to find a way to get these things to do a bunch of NAT - say some flavour of NAT, line-rate @ 10G. If so, anyone know of a NOS that has support for it? OcNOS, Cumulus Linux, PicOS and Switch Light OS seem to have none, but not sure if there are others out there. Thanks!

At NANOG two weeks ago, we had an interesting discussion at one of the lunch tables. One of the subjects we discussed was the original IANA, and RFC Editor, Jon Postel. Seven of the ten people at the table had never heard of him.
