Any major players using HTTP to configure Cisco routers? If so, would you be willing to share how you prevent your operators from turning into idiots, how you share some config-file elements and not others, and what you do about "strange" things like really weird bgp filters... Open Letter from WIPO to the Internet Community

Dear Internet Friends: There has been some discussion in the press and on the public lists concerning the dispute resolution procedures contemplated under the Memorandum of Understanding on the Generic Top Level Domain Name Space of the Internet Domain Name System (gTLD-MoU), and the role of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Center in administering those procedures. It is clear that the dispute resolution procedures involving trademarks and domain names are of critical interest to domain name holders that are not intellectual property right owners. Concerns about these procedures warrant a direct communication to the Internet community to explain the contemplated dispute resolution procedures and the proposed involvement of WIPO. Accordingly, WIPO has posted an OPEN LETTER to the Internet Community concerning the domain name dispute resolution procedures under the gTLD-MoU. The OPEN LETTER can be found on the WIPO web site, at http://www.wipo.int/eng/internet/domains/openlet.htm. The gTLD-MoU, draft CORE-MoU, Proposed Substantive Guidelines Concerning Administrative Challenge Panels, and WIPO meeting documents may all be accessed through the WIPO web site (http://www.wipo.int/eng/internet/domains/index.htm) WIPO welcomes this opportunity to explain the contemplated dispute resolution procedures, and the role of the WIPO Center. Can someone give me a clue on filtering mail on using the stock sendmail that comes with Solaris? I am unfortunately without a sysadmin right now (anyone need a job?) but I do know enough to monkey with what needs monkeying. Anyway, a certain user decided to dial up (to somewhere else) and use my mail system to send mail to every single AOL user. Today alone I probably got about 600 copies of his bounced mail...never mind that this is deffinately not cool. Anyway, I have the email address that he is using as for the FROM: field so I'd like to simply block that out. Help would be appreciated. Brian

I always thought that this forum should be politically agnostic. I would hope that "religious" arguments be kept to ATM versus Gigabit Ethernet, and not whether the US government should allow certain technologies (that, by the way, encourage open and uncensored dialogue) to be exported to different countries. If Vadim wants to complain about the capitalistic system, let him go to alt.politics.complain. Vadim, I disagreed with you prior on your stance regarding this topic. Your moralistic stance was commendable, except that it came about as a direct attack upon a company, and it came through not as something that should be measured for its merits, but as a personal attack upon that company, and your firm belief that other companies would never do such a thing(specifically Cisco).
