We do about 70-80Gbps at peak over the external BGP links we have and I am not seeing a large increase nor am I seeing it spread out over time. We're an eyeball network plus some really large customers. Anyone else seeing something different? We're now into the 3rd day, so I thought I'd see something change by now. scott

IS-IS on FRR - Is Anyone Running It?

Hi all. So I finally decided to start messing around with FRR for a native IS-IS deployment for some of our FreeBSD-based Anycast services. I hit an issue that I posted to the FRR list that hasn't progressed beyond identifying a bug: 2020/03/21 03:12:36 ISIS: isis_send_pdu_bcast: sock_buff size 8192 is less than output pdu size 9014 on circuit em0 2020/03/21 03:12:36 ISIS: [EC 67108865] ISIS-Adj (1): Send L2 IIH on em0 failed This is being addressed here: https://github.com/FRRouting/frr/pull/6066 But my main question was if there was a command or setting in zebra.conf and/or isisd.conf that I can use to define the MTU IS-IS should use to set itself up, rather than being informed by what the interface currently runs at. I've tried everything that is documented as well as stuff that isn't, but nothing is accepted or recognized. Either no one runs IS-IS on FRR, or much of the implementation is still being developed and/or hasn't been tested in the wild, i.e., no traction. I'm hoping there is someone on this list that has played with IS-IS on FRR to point me in the right direction. The setup is FRR 7.3 on FreeBSD-12.1. Thanks. Mark.

Command and Control Centres | COVID-19

All, This question has arisen and I was wondering if I could request some feedback from the community. We operate a 24x7x365 Command and Control Centre that provides mission critical services (Security Operations, Network Operations, and Enterprise Management) as does many on this list. How many on the list have sent all personnel home using work from home practices and home many have opted to run skeleton crews while implementing tight social distancing restrictions? How many are operating status quo? We are trying to find a balanced position and I was wondering what is the communities position on this topic? Scott

A sternly worded, finger-wagging press release. https://www.fcc.gov/document/fcc-ftc-demand-gateway-providers-cut-covid-19-… [...] The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau and FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection wrote to three gateway providers that are facilitating these scam COVID-19-related robocalls: SIPJoin of Suffolk, Virginia; Connexum of Orange, California; and VoIP Terminator/BLMarketing of Lake Mary, Florida. The companies have been identified by the Traceback Group, a consortium of phone companies that help officials track down suspect calls, managed by the trade association USTelecom. The Commissions also wrote to USTelecom to ask its members to begin blocking calls from these providers if the flood of robocalls is not cut off within 48 hours.

Tickets are not being approved for access and shipments have been delayed weeks. This is vital infrastructure and im probably not the only one having issues with there support.
