Hello All, First of all, forgive my English writting please! I work for an Internet Carrier in Argentina which is in process of reorganizing its regional operations. We are also serving in other countries in South America. We currently have one AS per country and we are looking forward to migrate to a unique AS for all the organizations. Could anyone describe pros and cons of having a unique AS for this kind of networks rather than having one AS for each country. Regardless of the cons, we are facing migration process anytime soon, so I would appreciate very much to get more pros than cons to include in my papers which are almost finished! Tertiary or 2nd Secondary DNS?

This question might be more suitable for inet-access, but it's down, so I'm resending here: Silly question: If you have a customer who is doing their own primary DNS, but you are doing their secondary DNS (on 2 of your name servers) for them, is it better practice on your 2nd DNS server to xfer the zones directly from the customer's primary DNS server (a second secondary DNS server) or xfer it from your first server (the customer's secondary server) doing "true tertiary" DNS? Or should the tertiary use multiple masters? Thinking about rewriting the scripts a bit... thanks, James Smallacombe PlantageNet, Inc. I'm currently researching T-1 solutions for an upcoming venture. I'm looking for an easy search engine, where I can just enter in the billing address, npa/nxx and find several T-1 providers in my area. I have tried 5 sites from a google search, and they all seem to promise 'searchable bandwidth', but then I get a generic e-mail. Could someone recommend a bandwidth broker site that can give me an online quote instantly. Thanks -- Matthew
