(ASN = the operator's AS number) See, for example, https://www.he.net/adm/blackhole.html Does anyone know if AS 3356 has changed how it uses 3356:666? LACNOG 2021 - Call for Presentations LACNOG, the Latin American and Caribbean Network Operators Group, will hold its LACNOG 2021 conference from 11 to 15 October 2021 together with the LACNIC 36 event. The LACNOG 2021 Program Committee invites the Internet community to submit their presentation proposals for the event. In line with the spirit of LACNOG, proposed topics must be geared towards Internet development in the region. The following is a non-exhaustive list of some of the topics of interest for the LACNOG 2021 meeting: ● Network operation and professional experiences, success stories ● Internet of Things ● MANRS ● Community Networks ● IPv6 integration and deployment ● Experiences involving botnets, malware, spam, viruses, denial of service attacks and exploit techniques ● IP network architecture, sizing, configuration and administration ● Routing and switching protocols, including unicast, multicast, anycast, SDN, etc. ● End-user applications (e.g., e-mail, HTTP, DNS, NFVs) ● Value-added services such as VPNs, distributed systems, cloud computing, etc. ● Peering, Internet traffic exchange, IXPs ● Network data security and management, attack mitigation ● Network monitoring, performance, measurements and telemetry ● Network automation, evolution and convergence ● Infrastructure and physical transport, including optical and wireless networks ● Legislation, regulations and Internet governance issues ● Research and education Possible presentation formats include: ● Lightning talk: brief, 10-minute presentation (including a space for Q&A) ● Presentation: 20-minute presentation (including a space for Q&A) ● Posters: includes a single-page PDF (A2or smaller) with the basic information of the presentation plus a 2- to 5-minute video with the presentation Deadlines for the 2021 call for proposals will be as follows: ● Reception of proposals: 25June to 6 August, 2021 ● Proposals will be accepted until: 6 August 2021 at 23:59 UTC-3 (Uruguay time) ● Evaluation by the Program Committee: 7August to 16 August 2021 ● Announcement of results: 17 August 2021 ● Deadline for submitting the final presentation: 17 August - 17 September 2021 ● Final presentations will be accepted until: 17 September 2021 at 23:59 UTC-3 (Uruguay time) ● Event date: 11 to 15 October 2021 Applicants must submit a summary and a draft of the slides of their proposed presentation along with a brief biography, for which they must use the form available athttps://eventos.nog.lat/e/lacnog2021 <https://eventos.nog.lat/e/lacnog2021> If your work is selected, you authorize LACNOG and LACNIC to publish your name, photograph, biography and final work in the event program. Recently ARIN reviewed the Officer Attestation process and as a result of that review have determined the Officer Attestation process is no longer necessary for achievement of its original goals and should be retired. The purpose of this consultation is to review this proposed change with the community prior to its implementation. The Officer Attestation was introduced in 2007 in preparation for the depletion of IPv4 addresses. Currently, ARIN requires an Officer Attestation for all requests that involve a needs analysis (which today consist of waiting list requests, NRPM 4.4 micro-allocations, NRPM 4.10 IPv6 transition, IPv6 requests, and transfer recipient requests.) However, conditions have changed since this requirement was established, and ARIN believes that the Officer Attestation for resource request tickets is no longer necessary for the following reasons: - Today IPv4 resources are issued by ARIN predominantly via the Waitlist policy, and this policy has been revised to only allow one small request per party (thus avoiding the original risk of “hoarding” via large suspect requests prior to runout). - With regard to transfers of IPv4 resources obtained via the transfer market, the inherent costs for large transfers ensures organizational officers are “in the know”. - Given IPv6 availability, officer attestation of need for IPv6 resources is not necessary. The review identified that at this point in time the Officer Attestation process is problematic for many customers, predominantly posing an administrative burden that does not materially improve policy implementation and resulting in numerous complaints and adding unnecessary delay (varying between two days and an entire week) to completion of resource request tickets. In light of the administrative burden to customers and undefined benefit, ARIN proposes dropping the Officer Attestation requirement – note that this specifically does not change documentation requirements related organization recovery of IP number resources or related anti-fraud measures that ARIN has implemented. Hello, I'm trying to get in touch with webmaster(a)ntp.org. But so far without luck. Maybe this route will help. I noticed that quit a number of pages you mention on https://www.ntp.org/ are no longer functioning. Like http://lists.ntp.org/ and http://support.ntp.org/.
