NO Owen, we can't have a single rogue member bring a whole entity that is mandated with an important task for the continent to a stand still just because they can twist the law and quote bylaws or manipulate processes. This is WRONG and shall remain to be so no matter how repeated and "fancily" satinize it with a good read of the mandalorians ways of life. LET AFRINIC BE, and not undermine it's operations or the intelligence of the other members who need it's services. CRTC hires private company to investigate 2022 Rogers outage Critics say regulator being too secretive about probe, too slow to force more transparency from big telecoms https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/crtc-rogers-outage-investigation-1.6963052 CBC News has learned Canada's telecommunications regulator has hired a private consulting firm to investigate the massive Rogers outage last summer that left more than 10 million customers without cellphone and internet access. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) confirmed in an email it hired engineering consultant Xona Partners in May to provide a report on the Rogers network and "help inform what further regulatory action is needed."

While wondering at high spam scores for NANOG mail, I noticed that it's in part because of broken reverse DNS for mail.nanog.org's IPv6 address. The address is 2001:1838:2001:8::20, with reverse delegated to ns1.scservers.com and ns2.scservers.com... but those hostnames don't resolve. Spam from ARIN to POC addresses

At 14:01 and 14.46 EST I received two identical emails from meetings(a)arin-events.net with the subject “Join us for ARIN 52 in October”. One was sent to the NOC POC address and one to the abuse POC address for my ASN. As far as I am aware, I never signed up for whatever that mailing list is and if I did I wouldn’t subscribe to it on those addresses. Furthermore, I am not seeing an unsubscribe button on either email. That makes both messages spam. Considering I’ve never received messages like those from ARIN on those addresses, I’ll give ARIN the benefit of the doubt and say someone accidentally imported the wrong list of emails into their MSP.
