NANOG 58 Attendees: One last Thank You to our meeting host, sponsors, presenters, meeting attendees, and volunteers who made NANOG 58 a great success. Our first NANOG visit to New Orleans was wonderful. It was great to see new faces at NANOG and to see so many who made a return visit. R & E BoF on Wednesday?

I know that there are some R&E/Higher Ed attendees in our midst at NANOG 58, and some folks have already approached me to talk about a possible informal BoF for the R&E community (open to all, of course). I think we may be able to schedule something on Wednesday, and I will discuss it with the NANOG folks. The main meta-topic will be to brainstorm ways in which the R&E community can utilize NANOG and other conferences to make up for the reduction in Joint Techs meetings. We can also discuss other, more technical, topics that are burning in our arena right now. If you are interested, please email me directly and let me know if you would be able to attend a BoF on Wednesday. thanks, michael

Dear NANOG 58 Attendees: We look forward to seeing you at NANOG 58, hosted by Verizon Terremark, June 3-5, 2013, at the Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel. We are expecting strong attendance, with nearly 470 registered attendees as of this date. This message contains information and brief reminders to help you prepare for the NANOG meeting. *Agenda and Highlights* The complete NANOG 58 agenda is available along with the NANOG meeting hotel space layout. Upon checking in at Registration, an abbreviated paper copy of the agenda will be provided with your name badge. Highlights of the meeting agenda and other activities are summarized. *Meeting Check-in* Meeting registration & check-in will be held at the Roosevelt Foyer, located on the Mezzanine Level of the hotel. When you arrive at the meeting, please check-in at the NANOG Registration Desk to pick up your name badge, T-shirt, attendee gifts and important handouts. The registration desk will be open during the following hours: Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. *Membership and Sponsorship Table* Beginning on Monday afternoon, committee members will be available during breaks to answer your Membership and Sponsorship questions.
