Brighthouse issues

We are seeing that all our customers in the Brighthouse Orlando, FL market that would make outbound connections on TCP port 3306 suddenly can't connect to us now. This happened suddenly mid day today. Other ISPs can still make the same outbound connections. VPN connections on Brighthouse into the same IP block work fine, just outbound port 3306 is being blocked now. If anyone has details as to an emergency maintenance or change that occurred, I'd like to be able to pass it along to our customers. Thanks, Jared

ARIN WHOIS for leads

Sent this little e-mail to ARIN: I'm not sure that you guys can do anything about this, but it's worth looking into. I registered AS626XX a week ago, and since it's registration, I've been getting calls from "wholesale" carriers trying to get me to purchase IP transit from them. Someone is obviously using your database of contact information to generate sales leads. 512-377-6827 was one of the numbers trying to get more information about my network and how they could "help" me. My guess is someone is using your mass whois database, looking at the most recently issued/created AS numbers, and cold calling. Just thought I'd pass this along. --------- Due to the amount of calls I've received, I'm guessing its probably a good idea to remove my contact info from the registration and setup role's instead. Does this sorta thing happen frequently with new registrations or did I just draw the short straw? Best, Justin

management traffic QoS on Tunnel interfaces

Hi all, I have been trying to come up with a qos policy (or rather where to apply it) for reserving some bandwidth for management traffic to the local router The setup is that a remote route is a spoke to a DMVPN network, thus has a couple of ipsec gre tunnel interfaces and a Lo0 for management (ssh). I have no issue working out service policy for transiting traffic, however, I can't wrap my head around how to reserve some bandwidth for the locally originated SSH traffic (managing the router). I'd like to mark ssh response packets from the local router (1.1.1.1) with CS2,so i can match them in the tunnel policy shown below.
