Dear NANOG 71 Attendees: Welcome to NANOG 71, sponsored by EQUINIX, at the Fairmont San Jose hotel. We are expecting strong attendance, with 1,159 individuals registered for the meeting as of this email. Based on our registration data, 316 people have indicated they are attending a NANOG meeting for the first time. Of those attending, 296 are also NANOG Members. We provide a mobile app for the conference via Guidebook <https://guidebook.com/getit/>. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices. Once the app is installed, select “Download Guides” at the bottom and search for “NANOG 71”. There are a number of features in Guidebook you may like to use. You can download all or only some of the agenda items that you want, find a map of the hotel meeting venue, search nearby restaurants, connect to social media sites, and you can even take the General and Daily Presentation survey right from your mobile device! When you arrive at the meeting, please check-in at the NANOG Registration Desk to pick up your name badge, NANOG 71 T-shirt, and additional important handouts. You are required to wear your badge during the meeting at ALL times for security purposes. Badges are non-transferrable. The registration desk will be open during the following hours: • Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. • Monday - Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Be sure to stop by and visit the crowd pleasing sponsored Espresso Bar.
