Ameritech Fiber Cut

There is currently an Ameritech fiber cut between Flat Rock, MI and Monroe, MI causing loss of service for dialtone, inbound long distance, and dedicated services in the area. There currently is no ETR. - jared -- Jared Mauch | pgp key available via finger from jared@puck.nether.net clue++; | http://puck.nether.net/~jared/ My statements are only mine. | "Waste Management Consultant"

Service is now restored. It appeared to be a problem as someone was replacing some fiber in the ground and did the instructions perfectly.. but in the wrong order.. they pulled the active fiber out instead of the dead protect fiber. ;) - Jared aside: should someone create a seperate fiber-cuts@* list for these? or perhaps telco-outages@* thing?
