It's worth pointing out that many IPv6 networks are unavailable from Cogent; so, effectively, in 2013, you still can't get IPv6 connectivity from Cogent.
And, presumably, IPv4 either, depending on whom they're having a peering war with that particular month. For a client connection, such is probably safe; I don't think I'd run servers on it.
