I'm betting that anyone who is scheduled to depart after about 2pm will probably be alright as long as their destination isn't frozen over. The clouds are really thinning out now and according to the sattelite, this is their last gasp. I'm also betting that tonight in Atlanta, it will be *COLD* so be prepared if you're departing Friday. -Wayne On Thu, Feb 13, 2014 at 04:04:19PM +0000, Bob Salmons wrote:

I drove home (75N) at noon. Roads are pretty good. Not unsafe, but not capable of supporting anywhere near normal traffic load. Fewer lanes open and slushy exit ramps. Glad people stayed home or it'd be a real mess. -e

So, you can tweak your URL on flightaware to find out how flights are going to the cities you care about, eg: http://flightaware.com/live/findflight/katl/kdfw (Atlanta -> DFW for example) If you use the IATA codes instead of ICAO it usually does the right thing and fixes it... - Jared
