Looking for a craigslist.com admin to connect with offlist about a block :) [DennisBurgessSignature] www.linktechs.net<http://www.linktechs.net/> - 314-735-0270 x103 - dmburgess@linktechs.net<mailto:dmburgess@linktechs.net>
Have been getting reports of the same thing. Went to the craigslist help forums where some people there decided to call us a fake ISP because we don't hand out publics to every customer. They were VERY rude and hopefully none of them were employees. They said our customers can't use craigslist if we don't hand publics to everyone. It didn't matter to them that we don't have enough IP's for every customer. I sent an email to some admin account someone recommended but haven't heard anything back yet. I'd try consider this argument if they at least offer the web service in v6, which is not the case

Would be really stupid if they were blocking all users behind NATs. BTW if I enter craigslist.com, it redirects me to "prague.craigslist.cz" (makes sense, I'm from CZ and close to Prague), but it uses an invalid SSL certificate. --- Filip On 06/02/2016 10:45 PM, Darin Steffl wrote:

Welcome to life in the post-exhaustion IPV4 space. I'd say "Deploy IPv6 and give everybody an address", except that won't fix the problem, as apparently Craigslist doesn't have an IPv6 presence yet....
According to bgp.he.net and ARIN, craigslist has 2620:7E::/44 which is announced on several transits. Curious as to what they use it for if not Web, MX, or DNS. —Todd

Well, for starters, they could put a quad-A in the DNS for www.craigslist.com, or for the MX for the craigslist.com domain, or for the 4 NS entries for their zone in the DNS. Evidence certainly points to them getting the block, and announcing it, but not actually using it for much of anything....
Have you tried reaching them on noc@craigslist.org ? thanks,-nevin On Thursday, June 2, 2016 1:48 PM, Darin Steffl <darin.steffl@mnwifi.com> wrote: Have been getting reports of the same thing.
