I have just turned up and migrated to a new circuit. I'm getting a few reports from one customer that some of his users are unable to reach his system. If I could get people on the list to ping 65.5.48.2, and if it fails, to do a traceroute and email it to me offlist? I'd appreciate it. Thanks. __________________________ Eric Esslinger Information Services Manager - Fayetteville Public Utilities http://www.fpu-tn.com/ (931)433-1522 ext 165 This message may contain confidential and/or proprietary information and is intended for the person/entity to whom it was originally addressed. You may want to take a look at traceroute.org and use the many sites listed there. On Thu, Jun 23, 2011 at 9:07 AM, Eric J Esslinger <eesslinger@fpu-tn.com> wrote:

You can trace to it yourself from all over the world...unfortunately, the vast majority of these are going to use UDP packets, which you appear to be blocking at the destination. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=traceroute.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon Lewis, MCP :) | I route Senior Network Engineer | therefore you are Atlantic Net | _________ http://www.lewis.org/~jlewis/pgp for PGP public key_________

If there's a problem it's specific to a few users of that one customer and I need them to give me more information to isolate it. None of my looking glass tests (I was aware of traceroute.org and used ~50 of the sites before coming to the list. I also saw no problems).
Thank you for the help.
