NANOG92 travel grants or sponsorships?
Does anyone know if there are travel grants or sponsorships available for people who cannot afford the US$700 (~C$1k) registration fee and/or travel expenses, out-of-pocket? Asking for a friend *cough*... (Yes, I'm aware of the $100 Virtual option, it's not a good option for me.) -Adam Adam Thompson Consultant, Infrastructure Services MERLIN 100 - 135 Innovation Drive Winnipeg, MB R3T 6A8 (204) 977-6824 or 1-800-430-6404 (MB only) https://www.merlin.mb.ca<https://www.merlin.mb.ca/> Chat with me on Teams<https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=athompson@merlin.mb.ca>

ARIN has a fellowship program that includes expenses to attend an ARIN/NANOG combined meeting. It's also a great way to learn about ARIN and get involved in the wider networking community. I’ve been an ARIN Fellow once before, years ago, and I didn’t feel right drinking from that trough twice. And the application period is already closed for ARIN54/NANOG92. However, I heartily recommend this program – in general – to anyone who hasn’t been involved in the ARIN policy end of things much! -Adam Adam Thompson Consultant, Infrastructure Services MERLIN 100 - 135 Innovation Drive Winnipeg, MB R3T 6A8 (204) 977-6824 or 1-800-430-6404 (MB only) https://www.merlin.mb.ca<https://www.merlin.mb.ca/> Chat with me on Teams<https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=athompson@merlin.mb.ca> From: Aaron Wendel <aaron@wholesaleinternet.net> Sent: Friday, August 16, 2024 9:54 AM To: Adrian Schmidt <aschmi@gmail.com>; Adam Thompson <athompson@merlin.mb.ca> Cc: nanog@nanog.org Subject: Re[2]: NANOG92 travel grants or sponsorships?
