For those who are not local, remote participation is available by following the 'Webcast' link on http://www.uknof.org.uk/uknof9/ The listed times are in GMT, so the kick off would be 5am on the east coast. I hope to see some of you there. Best wishes Andy Begin forwarded message:

Happy New Year. If you are looking for a cure for those post-holiday blues, UKNOF9 is only 10 days away, and I'm pleased to announce a draft agenda of presentations for it - you can find this at:
http://www.uknof.org.uk/uknof9/
I'd like to thank our sponsors Nominet UK, for their generous support of UKNOF9, which as well as keeping meeting attendance and catering free to all, is this time allowing us to move to a bigger room at the same venue.
This time around we have a number of DNS-related talks, including Nominet's CTO talking about their plans for enhanced DNS security, and on the future of BIND. There are also operational deployment presentations on IPv6 and IPTV, and the latest developments in SS7 support for Asterisk. Richard Clayton will be talking about the recent report he worked on for the House of Lords on Personal Internet Security.
We already have 4, but there is still room in the programme for 1 or 2 more "lightning presentations": short and/or late-breaking items of interest. Please contact me anytime between now and on the day if you'd like to submit one of these.
We also hope to webcast this event and support remote participation. Meeting connectivity is being provided by LINX, Entanet and Claranet, and we have a unique opportunity this time around to beta-test LINX's upgraded meeting wireless infrastructure.
If you are planning to attend, and have not yet done so, please register as soon as possible at:

A finalised meeting agenda and any other logistic details will appear here and on the UKNOF website <http://www.uknof.org.uk> in due course.
