The first under the spotlight are former WorldCom CEO Bernard Ebbers and former Qwest CEO Joseph Nacchio, along with 10 other Qwest executives. Ebbers was found guilty in a federal court in New York on all counts for his role in WorldCom's demise. Meanwhile, the Securities and Exchange Commission sued Nacchio and 10 other former executives, accusing them of perpetrating a massive financial fraud on investors.
