Thank you for an excellent report on BIND's issues handling zone files under these circumstances, even though Chris Clough described the problem as a minor hiccup invisible to end users. Now other name server operators have the opportunity to review their own practices in case they have a similar problem, and keep an eye out for updates from Nominum.
