Horrible world trade center crash, (Nostradamus)
Sirs, look this: "In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb" , "The third big war will begin when the big city is burning" - Nostradamus, 1654 http://www.ed.brocku.ca/~nmarshal/nostradamus.htm
Now read this Nostradamus newsgroup thread: <http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&frame=right&th=54ab4d241c34e0cc&seekm=3b8fd177%40monitor.lanset.com#link1> It is a long thread but this guy may be involved with this attack, because he knows the exact date. Or he is a wonderful kicker... Something that Nostradmus did not reveal: a long distance company in Brazil is giving 3 minutes calls - free of charge - to US. This is also a backup plan for this company, trying to divert calls away from their automated system, which is close to its limits... On Tue, 11 Sep 2001, Kleber Carriello de Oliveira wrote:

"In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb. The third big war will begin when the big city is burning" This is the saying I received yesterday. The city of God could refer to many of the problems in Jerusalem. The fortress would be the pentagon, and the big city is still burning. This kinda makes a bit more sense. Shel On Wed, Sep 12, 2001 at 03:09:47PM -0700, Scott Francis wrote:

Sorry for the top-post, but this is another Internet hoax: Source: http://www.nostradamus-repository.org/cityofgod.html "The following quatrain has been circulating the Internet after the WTC bombings. In the City of God there will be a great thunder, two brothers torn apart by chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will sucumb. The third big war will begin when the big city is burning. It is NOT by Nostradamus." Even if this were by Nostradaus, this could be interpreted any way your mind wants to make it fit. I remember a high-school teacher who quoted Nostradamus as saying that the "Third World War" would be started by a man from the Middle East wearing a blue turban in the year 2000. Crazy. Let's not let common sense give way to this type of hogwash. -Tim

More to the point, the parsers in my routers were unable to intepret it: zoc-int-brk01(config)#In the City of God there will be a great thunder ^ % Invalid input detected at '^' marker. These doom quotes are just fuelling the nutters even more. I personally find this quote, by the architect of the World Trade Center far more an appealing message to be promoting: "The World Trade Center should become a living representation of man's belief in humanity, his need for individual dignity, his belief in the cooperation of men, and through this cooperation his ability to find greatness." -- Minoru Yamasaki - Architect World Trade Center The towers are no longer but our beliefs and our way of life will prevail. A hoax. Not from Nostradamus. Not even a paraphrase of any of his writings. http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/hoaxes/predict.htm -- David
I've seen a few diff versions of this floating around as people add their parts to the verse. :-) -- Walter L On Thu, 13 Sep 2001, David Charlap wrote:

It's all bogus. Something someone created to try to make a point. Nostredamus did NOT say it, neither did Cayce, Miss Cleo or any other "seer". Dean Robb www.PC-Easy-va.com On-site computer services Member, ICANN At Large

Dunno - lots of New Yawkers doing lots of good these days :). BTW: That's a bogus quote - Nostredamus never said anything like that. Dean Robb www.PC-Easy-va.com On-site computer services Member, ICANN At Large
