The North American Electric Reliability Council has announced "Generation and transmission resources are expected to be adequate to meet projected customer electricy demands in most areas in North America this summer." However areas of concern for this summer are New England, New York and the southwestern area of the United States - California, Arizona, New Mexico and southern Nevada.
