Does anybody know of any good software or way to restrict Internet
gaming on
a corporate Network?
Yes. A magic product called "Official HR Policy." You'd be amazed how quickly people get the message once someone is fired or docked vacation days for violation of company network usage guidelines. -n ------------------------------------------------------------<memory@blank.org> "Look, I don't know how they do things on your home planet, spaceman...but here in Mayberry, we just don't talk to gun-toting, redneck, amphetamine freaks that way." That and a clear understanding that people _will_ use the network (as with personal calls, office supplies, and the like) for personal usage. What needs to be done is to balance the knee-jerk IT folks reactions to make life as miserable as possible for the greatest number vs. allowing some amount of employee usage, to increase satisfaction, _increase_ productivity, and basically make it worth going into the office. As an old boss of mine used to say, "This sounds like a solution in search of a problem.." If you have a problem, there are probably more effective means of curing it than breaking up a 3am quake-party.
