Re: AT&T outage (was: the whole world disappeared)
Well, it's made the news, at least:

AT&T has finally put some press releases up on its web page http://www.att.com. Unfortunately, the 1-800 number AT&T lists to hear the chairman's explaination is experiencing heavy calling volume, so I haven't been able to get through. The press release was delayed long enough to miss most of the deadlines for this morning's newspapers. But those reporters are sure going to be mad in tomorrow's editions. -- Sean Donelan, Data Research Associates, Inc, St. Louis, MO Affiliation given for identification not representation

I was chatting with Mike Mills [WashPost] last night as he wrote it. I was glad to see he made the deadline..... -- A host is a host from coast to coast.................wb8foz@nrk.com & no one will talk to a host that's close........[v].(301) 56-LINUX Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433 is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433
