the host 24.93.35.225, from roadrunner space, tried to dump MASSIVE mailing list recycles on me. like many thousands of messages. randy
I'm a customer of Austin Roadrunner, and they've been having some major problems with their mail services for about the last week or so. It's entirely possible this is the result of that. The host IP you mention is in the same address space as their SMTP server, smtp-server.austin.rr.com. -Danny -----Original Message----- From: owner-nanog@merit.edu [mailto:owner-nanog@merit.edu]On Behalf Of Randy Bush Sent: Sunday, March 11, 2001 10:51 PM To: nanog@merit.edu Subject: massive mail replication from 24.93.35.225 the host 24.93.35.225, from roadrunner space, tried to dump MASSIVE mailing list recycles on me. like many thousands of messages. randy
Massive Cluster Failure, with caps, is how the technician described it to me. Their explanation on the web site seemed a little fishy. All the bugs haven't been ironed out yet.
