To join this list, send email to: Thanks for setting something like this up eric. It can be a good thing. There are a couple of things that I want to make sure ISP's know about. We have the orii@peak.org (oregon information infrastructure) nwii@peak (NW information infrastructure) and the tforum@peak.org mailing lists set up at peak.org. These are designed to provide discussions about networking issues. All of these are majordomo lists. In addition, I want to make sure that ISP's in the Oregon area know about the Oregon Datafication Conference. Can you help get the word out to the ISP's in the state about it? Here is a blurb we have been using: Oregon Datafication Conference December 15th and 16th Oregon is ablaze with Internet activities. All over the state someone, somewhere is working on getting connected. There are activities in state government, Higher Education, K12 schools, Federal government, small business, and large business. All working on connectivity. Where do you go to find out who is doing what? The Oregon Datafication Conference will be an opportunity for all the people in the state working on Internet access or working on Internet in schools to come together and learn about the work that is happening. This NERO (http://www.nero.net) and NSF/NIE sponsored conference will provide the opportunity for K12 teachers and Internet Service providers to talk to each other about the work that is underway. There is funding available to provide K12 teachers with travel re-imbursements. To register for the conference, you can send email to nero-conference-registration@cs.orst.edu or connect to the WWW page http://www.sce.ojgse.edu/nero/odc and fill out the form.
