I've been trying to contact Fastly for over a month to setup a bgp peering session with them, but I haven't gotten a response from three separate emails. They say they "Have a selective but generally open peering policy" If I haven't gotten any response should I just take that as a "No"? -- Elijah Zeida | AirBridge Broadband - Network Engineer Office: 208-494-4343 | Direct: 208-494-1260 https://airbridgebroadband.com | 231 W Main St, Grangeville, ID 83530
FWIW emailed me and wanted to peer and then said file a ticket. I filed a ticket and they never responded. Then when I log in to the ISP portal it suggests I should peer with them and file a ticket. On Fri, Aug 9, 2024 at 4:43 PM Elijah Zeida <elijah@airbridgebroadband.com> wrote:

Fastly has an ISP portal? This is news to me since it’s not listed on the peering page of their website https://www.fastly.com/peering/ Elijah, last I spoke to someone from Fastly after posting here they had mentioned that bilateral sessions are only possible after 500Mbps 95%ile of traffic, otherwise they still advertise and accept prefixes over routeservers. If you aren’t reaching that, I’d assume it’s a no. Kind regards, Peter On Fri, Aug 9, 2024 at 16:57 Josh Luthman <josh@imaginenetworksllc.com> wrote:

Probably so. I sent them an email and had no issues turning up a PNI… but our traffic from them was/is pretty heavy, resulting in very high consumption of IX ports.
