And what realistic competitors does Oracle really have at the high end, when whatever MySQL calls itself now isn't sufficient? Remember to consider all factors, including whether you have a good supply of DBAs for hire at a reasonable price... (And yes, I can remember people saying 'Run away from Cisco' - before Juniper got their act together....)
