I' be interested in hearing about any operational experience the users on this list have had, such as issues and challenges with routing, reliability, etc., with the use of Microwave at DS3 or greater level.... -- Rodney Joffe CenterGate Research Group, LLC. http://www.centergate.com "Technology so advanced, even we don't understand it!"(R)
I had enough questions about where to get the space weather info to warrant a post to the list. The following http://www.sec.noaa.gov/advisories/email_lists.html will let you put yourself on the space weather advisory list. Bob
You can also add a real time X-ray and geomagnetic storm monitor to your NOC pages: http://www.maj.com/sun/status.html KL Bob Bownes wrote:

We now return you to your regularly scheduled fits of laughter at the expense of the CPUC. Never before has such a small organization perpetually amused so many. I'd really like the CPUC to explain to both me and the bankruptcy court who's going to pay for that. Regardless, the company has ceased to exist, and the contracts are void. It's over, and some people need to accept it and get on with their lives. --msa
This is California. First we ordered our power company to lose money until it goes out of business so we could nationalize its assets. Why shouldn't we be able to do the same to telecommunications companies? Okay, so Mr. Davis didn't force NPNT to run at a loss, but he should be able to save the citizens' DSL just like he's saving our power. (implied sarcasm througout) Pay for it? We're californians. We don't need to pay for it. We'll just raise state tax to 15% to tax our silicon valley employees. That'll allow us to keep failing business operating. -a Thus spake Majdi S. And I, personally, find http://www.sec.noaa.gov/pmap/gif/pmapN.gif to be fascinating, especially being in Seattle, where on a very rare cloudless night, the sky can be very interesting.
