To be fair to Concentric, they do return calls, and getting to a live person is not that complicated. Co-ordination with local carriers is an entirely different story... --vadim From: Michael Medwid <Michael.Medwid@ariba.com> To: "'Steve Sobol'" <sjsobol@NorthShoreTechnologies.net>, nanog@merit.edu Subject: RE: Interesting DSL anecdote. Concentric's voice prompt says "To find out about our technical support please visit our web site at www.concentric.com." Ahhhhhhhhhhgh! I wrote them and complained. They apologized. Nothing changed.

D'oh... The website lists 800-GO-COVAD as Covad's number. However, I have been contacted off-list by a Covad sales rep. The document he forwarded to me lists 888-GO-COVAD as their number, and THAT number has plenty of options, including "Distributor Hotline." -- North Shore Technologies, Cleveland, OH http://NorthShoreTechnologies.net Steve Sobol, BOFH - President, Chief Website Architect and Janitor Spammers and Net-abusers: Don't bother asking me for service.
