Global Crossing Network Problem.
Can someone from Global crossing help explain this problem. There seems to be some sort of internal network problem. Traceroutes attached. This affecting many of GBLX customers. ========================================================================== "A cat spends her life conflicted between a deep, passionate and profound desire for fish and an equally deep, passionate and profound desire to avoid getting wet. This is the defining metaphor of my life right now."
First we lost our gblx T1 for about an hour. Noc said it was a core router issue. After it came up I left it up for about an hour and then turned it off manually. The routes and response times over gblx were horrid. We are seeing 1000ms to SNV1 and 2. Outisde of gblx I can't get to many gblx colo sites or they are very slow. No callback from them yet on my open ticket. There is a rumor of a fiber cut but no confirmation. Derrick On Tue, 27 Jun 2000, Mohamed Hirse wrote:
