RE: Is anyone using GILAT's "Spacenet" service
Is Spacenet one of their business satellite services? I'm a user of
Starband service and I get pretty good speeds and feeds on the satellite, although telnet is a drag. Starband uses a page accelerator technology

Starband is a residential system and is not very reliable yet especially for business. They are having major network problems and plenty of daily downtimes. Stay away from them if you can until ECHOSTAR and SB can get their act together. Check out NEWSGROUPS alt.satellite.starband and starband.general for inside the scoop if you are interested in using SB. --------------------------- Dennis Dayman dennis@thenose.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ What goes up, must come down.
