Hi, I'm from Cable and Wireless and I'm here to help...
Folks, In the interest of the free flow of useful and correct information with regard to the divestiture of internetMCI, please do not believe anything you hear, rather feel free to ask. There are a number of ex-MCI'ers listening and we'll be happy to debunk rumors from whatever source. Basic rule, if it came from anything but a 'cw.net' address please ask before you jump in. Jeff Young young@cw.net
Are the billing problems going to be fixed? On Wed, 16 Sep 1998, Jeff Young wrote:

I've heard this nasty rumour that the (physical) location of your West Orange, NJ POP is a well kept secret. Dude, tell me it ain't true! Why not debunk this by providing me with an address? Also, what's the highly combustable tank at 426 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange for? Those things are dangerous, ya know! :) On Wed, 16 Sep 1998, Jeff Young wrote:

yes, that's a nasty rumor. since i'm no longer an mci employee, i don't consider west orange 'my location' rather 'my colocation' i'm unclear about the rules that surround divulging the exact physical location of my 'colocation' sites. perhaps someone who is also a mci colocation customer would care to comment on the rules? i know as an mci employee i wouldn't divulge the address of a pop and the agreement that i've signed with mci would probably prevent me from doing so as well. Small world department...I grew up at 546 Eagle Rock Ave. Haven't been back in 30 years or so, but there was a big green municipal water tank nearby.
