Been keeping an eye on CAISO since last summer. They seem to be on some type of access timer. Never can get in there during the wee morning. Not sure at what time they open the gates. As for the SystemStatus loggings. These are good for identifying which alert level, but you need to go to the "Newsroom" link to see the latest updates, i.e., announcements about rolling blackouts etc. K

The site works for me but it's pretty useless. According the system status pages, the CAISO did not order any load shedding yesterday. The last item was the Stage 3 alert for 0MW of "involuntary" reduction.

Historically, I've usually been able to get in before 0600 PST, at least as of late. However, it's coming up on 0900 PST, and the site appears to be down.
